St-Joseph project
The St-Joseph library
Nestled beside Lake Saint-Joseph, this project, in collaboration with Sylvie Caron Design, offers a magnificent view over the lake. The library is the result of a year of careful planning and fulfills the client’s dream of showcasing an impressive collection of books.
This room with abundant windows features meticulous details such as moldings, ornaments, and beams, which are tastefully integrated into the design. With classic esthetic elements that remind us of a castle, the residence now also displays a vast two-story library.
Materials
Cabinets: Lacquered cherry wood
Countertop: Black Titanium granite
Numerous details, including corbels, a fireplace mantel, and glass doors with LED lighting, create an ambiance of refined elegance. An arched alcove showcases works of art, and Versailles-patterned floors harmonize beautifully with the dark furniture.
The space also includes relaxation areas with a billiards table and fireplace, as well as an integrated office with wood beams. This project is one of several that ROCHON has completed in various rooms of the residence.
