Welcome to this grand, modern, Scandinavian-inspired kitchen in a stunning style that is consistently used throughout the home. Designed for those who love entertaining by the Saint-Lawrence River in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, this kitchen offers a vast and functional space, focused on a dynamic lifestyle.

Equipped with two under-mount sinks, two dishwashers, and two sliding double trash bins, it combines practicality with elegance. The main focus is a free-flowing space, with an abundance of seating at the island, so that people can gather comfortably.

The house opens on the mudroom, framed in white oak panels, creating a subtle space delineation that does not compromise the brightness or vastness of the room.

A CLEAN DESIGN

A streamlined linear design unfolds where white takes center stage, matched with wood panels and stained white oak. The lacquered cherry cabinets feature discreet handles. LED strips surround the island and breakfast area, also enhancing the natural light.

The impressive high-mounted hood does not obstruct the view of the kitchen, adding an elegant visual dimension. The T-shaped island, measuring ten feet in length, offers a six-foot lunch counter, bringing a harmonious and practical touch to the kitchen. The Integra door, covered in lacquered cherry, cleverly conceals access to a walk-in pantry.

Among the project constraints, the size of the Dekton slabs was carefully handled to minimize the presence of seams and to stay true to the overall concept. The result is a stunning visual effect, a true testament to the talent of the workers. A breakfast nook with a sliding shelf ‒which even integrates a television into the design- offers a modern and practical touch to this exceptional kitchen.
